要了生死，先度內眾生。心中一個念頭生、滅，就是內眾生。時時度掉心中的內眾生，保持光明覺照，就是度眾生、了生死。
　　To realize the cycle of death and re-birth, you must deal with the ideas in your mind. The arising and perishing of an idea in your mind are just like the birth and death of beings, and thus they are referred to as your inner beings. If you want to ferry all beings across the ocean of samsara, ferry across your inner beings first. Therefore, ferry across your inner beings any time, always maintain illuminated awareness, that is how you ferry all beings across samsara and liberate them from the cycle of death and birth.
