做大事的人不能忽略小事，如同一座大水壩，不能有小縫隙；一部機器，不能缺少一顆螺絲釘。但，做大事的人也不能只管小事，就如同大廚只要管好菜色的搭配及進度即可，不須去跟小廚搶切菜。
A person attending to great affairs should pay close attention to the small details, just as a dam could not allow a tiny crack or a machine could not lack even one screw or bolt. However, a person of greatness should not focus into great of detail, just as the head chef should only manage how the dishes are prepared and the progress, but not interfere with the chopping of the vegetables.
