人身難得今已得,佛法難聞今已聞;今生若不求了道,來世披毛戴角還;已能出家猶可貴,精進修行佛歡顏。
It is not easy to become a human being with the rare chance to learn the Dharma; however, we have been born as a human being and had a chance to learn the Dharma. If we don’t use this life to learn the Dharma and attain enlightenment, then in the coming lives we will be reborn as animals with fur and horns to pay back the karmic debt of a wasted life. It is just as praiseworthy that we can ordain as a monk or nun; we must practice diligently so the Buddha will be delighted.
